About Simon Bee

I am an Architect and Masterplanner working in an inspirational world city, which provides me with the springboard to connect with clients and colleagues around the world, sharing new ideas, concepts and narratives. At Benoy we are constantly pushing the boundaries for new regeneration typologies - complex, but urban, mixed use solutions, often retail driven, and reinforced by transport modes from rail hub to airport. Highly engaging with surrounding city context, with an emphasis on quality public realm and great landscaping, our work looks to a rich mix of cultural, lifestyle and civic uses to augment a valuable blend of new retail formats, living, working and recreational assets too. Our philosophy of considered urban design driven placemaking and wealth creation can apply equally in different environments across the world, from a high intensity, high rise, vertical cities, to historic, urban grain and heritage driven contexts elsewhere. With my colleagues and clients I love to explore, research, design, draw, model, test and build. Together we are a well connected global group of talented individuals with a shared approach to delivering great developments.
