About Simon Bennett

I'm a highly motivated and results-driven Accounting & Finance graduate from the University of Gloucestershire, with 10 years of experience across a broad range of roles — from hands-on e-commerce and data work to strategic financial reporting and team leadership. I thrive in fast-moving environments, whether that's supporting board-level decisions or building a team from the ground up.During my 13-month placement as a Finance Manager at Joules Limited, I supported seven departments, contributed to director-level reporting, and introduced process improvements that saved time and boosted efficiency. I now manage data and performance reporting for over 25 business accounts, working with clients of all sizes and supporting colleagues with advanced Excel expertise. I also lead on weekly brand reporting and performance analysis for internal stakeholders.Outside of my professional work, I’ve run a successful vintage NFL reselling business, gaining valuable experience in marketing, sales, and customer relations. I currently serve as Head Coach of the University of Gloucestershire’s American football team, where I lead recruitment efforts — including enrolling international student-athletes — and manage the team’s development both on and off the field.I bring energy, attention to detail, and a passion for improvement to everything I do — whether that’s in finance, business, or coaching. Travel, sport, and people fuel my growth, and I’m always open to opportunities that challenge me and push my skills further.
