About Simon Boyes

Hi, I am Simon Boyes and I am the MD of Benchmark Scaffolding and the Founder of ScaffPlan. I have built my career in the scaffolding industry from the ground up (literally). I started working as a labourer in the scaffold yard and have worked my way through every position possible inside a scaffolding business. I have run crews of many hundred staff and managed projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars. I now work as the Managing Director of Benchmark Scaffolding and am the Founder of ScaffPlan. I am passionate about finding simple solutions to solve complex scaffolding projects. I believe that a scaffolders role is to create the most cost-effective solution for our customers while eliminating the risk to the installation team and the end users. I know that there is absolutely no situation a scaffolder should be in where their life is more important then getting the job done. Using smart design systems allows the installation team to complete their work safely and efficiently and return home safely to their families at the end of each shift. I now focus my time on building software automation solutions to design and engineer scaffolding as quickly and efficiently as possible. My goal is to make automated software affordable and accessible for scaffolding business of any size or experience.
