About Simon Browne

After six International relocations to Europe and the USA over the last 15 years from large global systems & IT developers and suppliers, down to Silicon Valley startups, it was time for Simon to return to Down Under. Some of the companies he worked with are ICL Computers, Fujitsu, HAL Computers, Redswitch, AMD and Kuokoa Networks. He has spent his career in the IT Industry, within system development, system and application software and hardware verification and R&D, customer services and support, enjoying both the 'sharp end' as well as the project, program and functional/line management end. Much of his career has been in project management by either title or function, having several formal qualifications, most recently PRINCE2 practitioner. Since back in Australia, Simon has started an IT services company; worked for a leading Public Safety Network company; contributed to the success of one of Australia's leading Software Testing Consultancy companies; engaged in R&D and production management in the bio sciences sector and project managed several system, infrastructure, data management and business improvement initiatives within the Government and private sector. He enjoys challenging projects in any of his areas of expertise he's acquired and has a a passion for enhancing the working and communication relationships throughout organisations up and down the management chain.
