About Simon Buehrer

I'm Simon Buehrer, a sophomore currently at The Ohio State University in the Fisher School of Business. I am majoring in Finance, and hope to go into that field as my career. Over the years I have had many different experiences that have helped shaped me and my passions. Starting in the fall of 2022 I was accepted into the Fisher Global Internships program at Ohio State, with the goal of pursuing a finance internship in Barcelona, Spain. Unfortunately, an injury to my ankle that requires surgery has eliminated that possibility, but I was able to network with experts in the field, as well as prepare for a business internship overseas. Through my classwork as well I have been able to develop my business skills in all fields, such as business development, Microsoft Excel, financial analysis, marketing analysis, etc. As far as occupations go, I have been employed at Wedgewood Country Club for just over five years now, acting as a server in the restaurant, as well as a golf cart assistant. Having worked there for so long, I have earned the trust of all the executives in the club, and they have no problem asking for my help on certain things. Through my long tenure at Wedgewood, I have developed a lot of disciplinary skills. I always put maximum effort into my jobs, and have become very adaptable.
