I am a former Litigation lawyer. I changed my career path into legal recruitment in 2017. I am now a specialist Senior Legal Recruiter at CapeClarke with a particular focus in the Yorkshire and Scottish legal markets. I have been in the legal sector since 2003 and was engaged in private practice for 11 years, progressing from Paralegal to Trainee Solicitor to Associate Solicitor undertaking high value and complex litigation. I made the switch to legal recruitment as it allowed me to build on one of my key strengths - building relationships. My time in private practice gives me an advantage in terms of understanding client's needs and the pain points experienced by lawyers when progressing their careers. I have extensive experience in Yorkshire and Scottish legal markets and a demonstrable track record working with Partners, Legal Directors, Managing Associates, Senior Associates, Associates and Assistant Solicitors across Yorkshire. My client base includes Top 100, Legal 500 and Boutique law firms.
