About Simon Cervenka
Professor of Psychiatry, combined with clinical position as consultant in psychiatry at Akademiska Sjukhuset, Uppsala.The overall objective of my research is to identify brain biomarkers for psychiatric disorders. A key methodological platform is positron emission tomography (PET). In collaborative projects, we integrate molecular, structural and functional imaging with biomarkers in blood and cerebrospinal fluid. I have extensive experience in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, including completed supervision of several PhD students.
