With almost 20 years of experience in the finance space, I have the skills to help high growth companies develop roadmaps for their finance function. My experience ranges from external audit performed under IFRS and US GAAP, through controls assurance/SOX 404 work, to internal audit, finance transformation and compliance projects and assisting companies in the implementation of new accounting standards. Throughout my career, I have worked for both public multi-national and private companies in a variety of industries, enabling me to observe and share best practices and providing me with a unique perspective to the complex challenges faced by the finance function. My drive for problem solving is rivaled only by my passion for coaching and mentoring teams in a way that drives performance. Key achievements include- Providing recommendations to pre-IPO companies in enhance their control environment and finance processes based on best practices observed- Responsibility for building specialized teams overseas to perform audits of pre-IPO companies at PwC, enabling increased capacity and business growth- Fostered culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth by mentoring 50+ junior team members- Supported the transition of a large international technology client to ASC 606 revenue recognition model- Secured significant contract with major UK-based international bank’s adoption of COSO controls framework by leading audit of first PwC client to adopt new COSO standards.
