About Simon Clowes

My journey as a creative director and designer has spanned film, television, and immersive experiences for spatial platforms. With a focus on how art, technology, and identity are shaping culture, I founded and host Object Subject Form™, a podcast exploring the human side of creativity. Over the past two decades, I’ve used design to tell stories across different media, but what matters most to me isn’t the format or the role, it’s how technology and design can deepen human understanding, and open space for ideas that reimagine how we think and create. My focus is on the future of creative work and how AI and intelligent tools, identity, and digital ownership are reshaping creative careers and culture. Through Object Subject Form™, I speak with artists, technologists, and cultural thinkers about design ethics, digital culture, and the exponential shifts redefining how we create, learn, and build value. My work has been recognized with an Emmy® for the For All Mankind S3 Experience, along with honors from D & AD, SXSW, ADC, and Promax/BDA. Prior to my current role at Apple, I spent a decade at Kyle Cooper’s Prologue Films — an experience that felt like an apprenticeship, where I was able to explore and refine my craft in main title design, live-action, and animation direction.
