About Simon Collyer

With over 20 years of experience in Operations, Business Development, Service Delivery and Bid Management, I am a highly motivated and experienced leader with strong personal initiative and a broad range of skills. I have a passion for ensuring that people achieve their potential and that organisational goals are achieved, operating with flexibility and resilience under conditions of intense pressure. Currently, I am a Programme Manager at Fisher Training, leading the delivery of both Infrastructure and Logistics workstreams to support the development of a new, large scale, technically sophisticated training centre. I have successfully delivered the Infrastructure programme of a major Defence transformation programme, developing a number of new training assets across the MOD estate and two new build construction projects. I have also designed and implemented a new Safety Health and Environment function. I have extensive experience in the Defence, Emergency Services, and Logistics sectors, both in the UK and the Middle East, and I have a strong reputation for developing high performing teams, delivering great results, and getting jobs done, often in adversity. I am a Sandhurst graduate with a proven track record of leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
