About Simon Craig-Wright

I am currently a Registered Nurse on a Medical-Surgical clinical teaching unit at one of the busiest hospitals in the Lower Mainland, Royal Columbian Hospital. I earned by Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the UBC Accelerated B.S.N. program in April 2022. I am also a casual Community Support Worker with Progressive Housing Society, where I work in a modular housing building as well as in a temporary winter shelter. We help our clients with day-to-day activities and facilitate their transition towards independent housing. I earned by Honours B.Sc from the University of Toronto in April of 2020. I Double-Minored in Immunology and Anthropology, and Majored in Biology, with coursework focused on ecology and evolutionary biology. I enjoyed significant personal and intellectual growth from studying these areas which I am still highly passionate about to this day. I believe that my time at U of T gave me a strong theoretical foundation for transitioning into the nursing profession, and I am incredibly grateful to have had this experience.
