A design and race engineer with 25 years’ of high-level professional motorsport experience. I am a creative thinker with a pragmatic and measured approach, have a proactive approach to problem solving and organisation, a good communicator and one who works well within a team environment. A strong understanding of-Mechanical systems -Data analysis techniques -Vehicle Dynamics (mechanical and aerodynamic) My performance is measured by results. Many of my clients’ multiple championship and race wins are directly attributable to the effort, knowledge and attention to detail that I put into my work. Key Skills and Experience: • Race engineer o 18 years’ experience with factory and customer teams o I optimise driver, tyre and car performance on and around events using data analysis, simulation and calculation supported by my R&D input o I am focused, well organised and have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude • Damper engineer o 14 years’ experience of working with dampers ranging from ‘hands-on’ servicing and build to whole car performance development programmes • Design engineer o 22 years’ experience designing many areas of the competition car, particularly suspension, chassis, steering, brakes and engine installation
