Simon is CEO of Garden of Ideas. GARDEN OF IDEAS – Creation of new cultural visitor destinations. New ways to engage audiences. Collaborating with Professor Neil Thomas (Gardens By The Bay Singapore), Eden Project’s Sir Tim Smit (Cornwall), Rory Holburn (Operational design for open wide to Disney) A world-class team to bring the historic pleasure garden to a 21st-century audience. Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, National Gallery, National Theatre. Simon worked with World class artists and film makers, he has discovered many emerging new artists and community lead voices. BBC, ITV, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Historic Royal Palaces, Tate Modern, Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, English Shakespeare Company, Kensington Palace, Tower of London, Carlos Acosta, English National Opera, Village Underground, Old Vic Theatre and London’s West End. Simon worked in China, India, USA, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Iceland. Working with international scientists, artists, performers, film makers, to learn from each others practise. Simon holds the box office record for an installation he created at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. He was short-listed to create the artwork for London for the 2012 Olympic Games. Self sustaining arts and culture have driven the thinking to create Garden of Ideas. Inspired by Joan Littlewoods Pleasure Palace and the historic world paradise gardens of culture, including the Vauxhall pleasure gardens. International collaboration is at the heart of the vision.
