About Simon Ennis

As a dedicated legal professional with a diverse background, I bring a unique blend of expertise and experience to my role as Associate Counsel at Geosyntec. I graduated from Thompson Rivers University’s Faculty of Law in 2021 and was called to the BC Bar in 2022. My early career in private practice allowed me to develop a strong foundation in real estate, wills and estates, and corporate/commercial law. In 2024, I joined Geosyntec, where I continue to leverage my legal acumen to support the practice and contribute to our firm’s success. My journey into law was preceded by a robust career in Human Resources, underpinned by a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Marketing and Human Resources Management from the University of Northern BC. This multidisciplinary background has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of both the legal and business landscapes. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in various sectors, including banking, the Canadian Armed Forces, and the forestry industry. These experiences have honed my ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver strategic solutions. I am particularly passionate about teamwork and communication. I believe that effective collaboration and clear, open communication are the cornerstones of successful legal practice. Whether working with clients, colleagues, or stakeholders, I strive to foster a cooperative environment where ideas can be shared freely and solutions can be developed collectively.
