Lead for the DWPs Ageing Well programme, Equality and Diversity Task Force for over 10 yrs. Responsible for Corporate Engagement team and council’s diversity forums. Chief Executives Department Safeguarding Lead for children & adults. Moved into the 3rd sector to become Chief Officer of Healthwatch Walsall CIC. Moved to ECS as Chief Officer. In 2018 became Executive Director for ECS, doubled the turnover and number of significant contracts forming part of the company’s main portfolio. I currently provide Executive oversight for the West Midlands. Then taking on the Chief Executive and Chief Operations Officer role. I am a strong believer in volunteering within local communities currently serving as an elected Parish Councillor for several years as well as serving a term as Chair of the Council. Previously a school governor plus Chair of Governors, Chair of a fundraising group for a new village hall and Chair of village, town, district and regional community safety organisations and partnerships within the Amber Valley area. Currently a Trustee of a Scout Group and Chair of local registered Charity providing community facilities and recreation grounds.
