About Simon Gentry

I provide strategic counsel to complex organisations with sophisticated communications challenges here in the UK and across Europe, often working at the point where difficult policy, communications and reputational challenges meet. Having spent time in-house and as a long-term adviser to companies such as GSK, VISA, TIDE and Openreach, amongst others, I understand the complexities of both the internal and external communication and public policy environments. I have worked with CEOs, Boards, senior communications professionals, UK Ministers and MPs, EU Commissioners and MEPs, elected representatives and regulators and officials in London, Brussels and across Europe on a diverse range of challenges. I’m particularly interested in how technology can both help us communicate more effectively, whilst at the same time, help us measure the impact of what we do. I use research to design, develop and deliver creative strategies that change attitudes and opinions, helping leaders and organisations connect with the audiences that mean most to them. Beyond my day to day role, I mentor some of the brightest and most able young up and coming professional communicators and political leaders and advise the leaders of a range of fascinating charities.
