Simon Gfeller is an experienced professional specializing in content strategy & creation, digital learning, and product-led growth. With expertise in team management, and curriculum development, His background in voice, languages, and communication further enhances his leadership in e-learning and training sectors. Simon leads learning initiatives at ELSA Corp, an e-learning startup with over 40 million downloads. Reporting to the VP of Product and CTO, he shapes the company's pedagogical vision and manages a multidisciplinary team to deliver educational content at scale using Generative AI. Simon drives product-led growth initiatives and content partnerships with international ESL/EFL publishers and influencers. As Senior Content Writer and Community Lead at ELSA Corp, Simon created and delivered digital courses for ELSA Speak, a learning app with 1.7 Monthly Active Users. He developed content partnerships and B2B content for schools and enterprises. Simon improved the ELSA Speak app’s learning experience and collaborated with linguists and AI scientists on scoring and assessments. He also represented ELSA in social media initiatives and was instrumental in the growth of its digital community. Before joining ELSA Corp, Simon worked with Oxford Summer Courses. As Lead Tutor, he developed a Transferable Skills platform for a "Financial Times 100" company and managed a team of tutors to deliver 70 workshops and lectures. Whilst living in the UK, Simon taught English Pronunciation, Communication, and Presentation Skills to international students at Regent School Cambridge. He co-developed a communication course for air traffic controllers. He also consulted for enterprise L&D on communication skills training for corporate outreach and digital engagement. In addition to his roles in education and training, he has also had a successful freelance career as an opera singer, actor, and voiceover artist. Simon holds a Master's in Vocal Performance from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, a Bachelor's in Singing from Université de Montréal, and a Bachelor's in Acting from Université du Québec à Montréal. Simon has received several accolades, including the Best Collaborator Award at the ELSA Awards in 2024. He has been a panelist for the Voice and Speech Trainers of America in 2021 and a keynote speaker for Macmillan Education's Advanced Learning Global Festival, as well as having been chosen as guest speaker for the IATEFL's SIG-Pron Showcase in Liverpool, UK.
