I am proud to be associated with many individuals and organisations who share a passion for strengthening our communities, introducing people who would not otherwise meet and increasing opportunities to learn about each others stories and histories. I provide education, support and evaluation to a range of customers who want to learn more about building community connections and working in a collaborative way outside of usual networks. My work at Kent County Council currently involves supporting the Learning Disability and Autism strategy, establishing the CETR Oversight panel as an additional safeguard for people living in mental health hospitals, mapping autism friendly and accessible spaces across our Kent and Medway communities and promoting this information via Kent Connect to Support and a new social prescribing platform for professionals and the public. I am very fortunate to be working alongside many people from across health, social care, communities and people with lived experience to support fantastic work that benefits everyone in our wonderful County.
