I am motivated by working with excellent people to deliver real results for complex problems. I am a Technical Program Manager and a collaborative problem solver. I work across engineering and business teams in moderate to large scale IT enterprises to deliver business outcomes. I rely on my leadership values of integrity, solid judgement, incremental approaches and caring about both the people and the products I work with to help teams achieve real results- A background in the sweet spot between Program Management, Product Management and Engineering means I can help all stakeholders understand each other and the problems to be solved. I can ask the right questions and quickly gain the respect of both technical and non-technical team members- I am comfortable working with ambiguous asks while working to provide better definition through analysis and questions- The privilege of working with several truly mature Agile teams means I look to identify incremental value delivery both within products and program delivery milestones- I have managed enough different software projects across varied technology stacks and team styles that I’ll be able to bring relevant lessons learned to new program difficulties- Delivering measurable results towards the stated goals and managing risks to the outcomes has always been my laser focus: For many years I have specialized in technical project and program management for moderate to large scale IT development where excellent customer management, ability to deal with technical / business complexity and team motivation were essential. I focused on ways to incorporate Agile practices and techniques into a large corporate program frameworks and ran both product delivery and large cross team programs. Recently I have also worked as a product manager enabling me to better define the underlying problems to be solved and how to measure progress towards the desired outcomes. Originally from the UK, I've lived in San Francisco for many years.
