About Simon Grace

Simon Grace graduated from the University of the West of England in 1992 having obtained a degree (2:1) in Housing & Development. Simon joined FPD Savills in 1993 within their Docklands office as a graduate and by 1995 was running the residential agency department. In 1996, he was promoted to Associate and transferred into the development department within the same office, concentrating solely on the sourcing of opportunities and sale of new build developments in the Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf areas of London. In 1998, Simon was promoted to Associate Director and set up and ran the new FPD Savills residential office at Butler's Wharf, London. The office dealt with residential land acquisitions and sales, development consultancy and new build agency sales. 1998 also saw the formation of the London Property Partnership, the forerunner to GB Developments. In Simon joined Colliers RH as a Director and became one of the market's top residential investment and development consultants dealing with a wide range of product and developers within Central London. Simon then helped form Cushman & Wakefield Residential and was one of 6 founding Board Directors in late 2005. This role included the rolling out of residential offices within existing Cushman & Wakefield offices throughout Eastern Europe. In addition, Cushman & Wakefield Residential were appointed as lead advisors on a £250m Eastern European residential investment fund. Since 2006 Simon's primary business activity has been as Managing Director of GB Developments Ltd. GB has purchased in excess of £125m of central london residential apartments to date, a proportion of which have been sold and the balance held in the companies rental portfolio. In addition to it's core transactional activity, GB also provides consultancy advice to developers on the strategy and implementation of new build product release within both the UK and Overseas markets.
