TV Director working in news for the past 25+ years - Worked on various projects, programme and channel launches including BBC Arabic and BBC Persian and Iran International. At present I am looking at the workflow integration for Iran Internationals newsroom and bureaus around the world. I was part of a team who delivered training to the new journalists when Iran international launched in 2018. I have recently being delivering training for Avid on their Media central Cloud UX for customers in Australia and Kurdistan. Prior to this I was in Doha where I was part of the Al Jazeera Workplace Migration team, ensuring that they had broadcast resilience in place during their transition to new production systems. Liaising between the newsroom and operations to ensure a smooth transition. Working with GV Stratus and Avid. I led the gallery testing and training for the new Multi Platform Area in the BBC's new headquarters in London, including establishing workflows and ensuring good gallery practice was followed. Worked in Afghanistan testing, and commissioning the new BBC tv studio in Kabul. Additionally responsible for training the local staff. Worked for BBC World Service as their Technical Trainer responsible for training the Language service studio managers, the basis of Television Production and how to use the Studio and Gallery successfully. Specialties: Liasing between newsrooms and enginnering in the broadcast field. Practical Studio and Gallery training with a "keep it simple" and "we can do it" attitude.
