About Simon Harries

As a highly motivated and experienced Strength & Conditioning coach, I am dedicated to driving the performance and success of athletes across a range of disciplines. With a proven track record of helping athletes achieve their goals at the highest level, I thrive on the challenges of elite sport and am committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible. I have a passion for helping injured athletes rehabilitate from injury to enable successful return to sport. With over 15 years of experience in high performance sport, I have worked with athletes from a diverse range of backgrounds and disciplines, including AFL, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Rugby Sevens, Water polo, and a range of individual event sports. Drawing on my extensive knowledge and expertise, I work closely with athletes to develop individualised training strategies that maximise their strengths and minimise weaknesses. At NSWIS, I am focused on developing a team of exceptional Strength & Conditioning coaches and Physiologists to deliver world-class performance support to our elite athletes, helping them to achieve their goals and stay ahead of the competition. I have a passion for maximising the rehabilitation of high performance athletes and help organisations and practitioners to navigate the complexities of this environment.
