Though I have had many occupations in my life, none has been so strikingly rewarding as being a teacher. After years in front of a classroom, it has become more and more clear to me that this is where I belong. As of December of 2017, I have had more than hours of teaching experience both in front of a classroom as well as tutoring one on one. It is my calling, and I enjoy it deeply. It has been a privilege to teach algebra at University Heights Academy in Hopkinsville. I couldn't have asked for a better environment to allow me to practice my craft. UHA has some of the most dedicated educators I have ever met, and they have been instrumental in my experience as a teacher. I could not have asked for a better group of students and teachers to work with. I feel I have been mentored by some of the finest educators in the county. I have also been a highly sought after tutor in mathematics. It gives me great pleasure to tutor students one on one. Whether my students need extra help to keep up with classmates or want to get ahead of the game, I make it a point to be there for them.
