About Simon Hill

As the Head of IT, I am results driven with proven strong leadership and people skills. I have successfully managed the ANZ IT landscape for a major Global Healthcare Company. The team I lead are responsible for supporting 1,200 staff across 10 sites with a mixed profile of: Manufacturing Plant, Compounding Pharmacy Operations, Distribution Centres and Sales Offices. My responsibilities include: • Strategic alignment of ANZ IT to business requirements and global IT directions • Project Managing major application and infrastructure rollouts • The provision of desktop support and incident desk services • Data security and crisis management • Supplier management for IT services • Managing departmental budgets This is within a highly-regulated environment for the manufacture and delivery of critical medical products, where I have delivered successful outcomes and cost savings. Prior to my Head IT role, I have an extensive background as a Senior Business Analyst, particularly focussed on ERP supply chain, automated distribution systems and mobile applications. EDI is also an area of special interest, under the GS1 and HL7 frameworks; message implementation, data synchronisation and trading partner onboarding. I have progressed my career through many of the key disciplines, including: Developer, Analyst, Support Leader, Project Manager to IT Head with infrastructure oversight. Always in a GMP / Quality Validated environment and focused on the end customer being a hospital patient. I believe this depth of IT experience, coupled with Senior Management Team leadership, gives me the ability to make well informed decisions for the business.
