About Simon Huckle Certiosh

I’m an experienced Health & Safety professional with a strong background in scaffolding and construction, now serving as Head of Health and Safety at MB Scaffolding. With a Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and years of hands-on site experience, I specialise in creating practical, effective safety systems that work in the real world—not just on paper. I’m passionate about building a culture where everyone goes home safe at the end of the day, while helping businesses stay compliant and productive. Over my career, I’ve developed expertise in: • Scaffolding safety management (SG4, TG20, NASC guidance) • Risk assessments & method statements (RAMS) • Site inspections, audits & incident investigations • Health & safety training & toolbox talks • Compliance strategy for construction and high-risk environments I believe that great health and safety is about people first, paperwork second—and I work hard to bridge the gap between site teams and management. If you’re in the scaffolding, construction, or housebuilding sector and want to connect, share ideas, or collaborate, I’m always open to a conversation.
