Hi, my Name is Simon Jokuschies and I am a Senior Software Engineer with 13 years of professional experience. I have over 20 years of programming experience using multiple programming languages such as Python (incl. PySide/ Qt), PHP, Java, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript; Currently, I am also advancing my skill set with C++. My main focus is Python. I have experience with mysql databases and mongodb and am well familiar with software architecture and writing clean PEP8 conform code using test driven development. In addition, I have 5 years of professional experience as compositor. In the last couple of years I have specialized in working and enhancing pipelines and developing pipeline tools, concentrating in Foundry's Nuke and have founded my own software brand called cragl vfx tools I have a good understanding of the overall pipeline and have several years of experience with compositing (Nuke, Flame) and 3D (Maya, Cinema4D, a bit of Houdini). I have released several online courses with Digital Tutors, Pluralsight and Rebelway and published multiple technical papers in the Digital Production about Python programming in a VFX environment.
