About Simon Jung

I would describe myself as being persistent, dynamic, and responsible. During my first experience as a research engineer in the ENSAM Metz Laboratory (2011), I designed and industrialized optical sensors, to Inspect the manufacturing process in a complicated environment. Then I used the data to improve the process parameters.(by defining new rules “4.0”) Then I joined GOM - A Zeiss Company, as a Sales Engineer for the East of France (2014): It was my first and successful experience in the world of sales, with a high level of technicality. After years, I could say that the reason for this success was the ability to listen and understand the products and process. I work to find how to solve existing troubles, but also improve the running process, improving performances for a win-win situation. After one year, we set up a regional sales office that I directed as a Regional Sales Manager (2015). My mission was to develop the activities, key accounts, and to build a strong team, always on tracks. Today I took the responsibility of global sales executive in V-Optics (2020), and my personal goal is to promote our awesome standard solutions and apply or build new ones in the industry. In my personal time, I keep working as a freelancer in the field of Industrial 3D Metrology and 4.0 solutions that fascinate me.
