About Simon Kinsella

I have been a psychologist since 1993 and have a special interests in treating trauma, anxiety and depression in adolescents and adults, assessment for medicolegal and recruitment purposes, and provision of supervision and training. In 2019 I was elected as Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society. I am also a fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists. I hold statutory positions as an Independent Medical Examiner, and as a panel member of the disciplinary review board for the Psychologists Board of Australia. I was the Deputy Chair of the ACT, Tasmanian and Victorian Regional Board of the Psychology Board of Australia from 2013 until 2017. For the last 3 years I have been working with Mesh Health building a world first AI tool to assist people with their mental health. We launched Simpatico in 2023 in partnership with Microsoft, and it is now available in MS Teams, and has been embedded in the new Microsoft Copilot. I have appear regularly on free to air television and on radio as a commentator on current affairs. I am also the current series psychologist for MasterChef Australia, Lego Masters, Celebrity Apprentice and Dancing with the Stars. I was series psychologist on Buying Blind and Family Food Fight.
