About Simon Labonte

I started my devotion and passion for accounting/finance at a young age with the love of understanding the concept of money and how it functions in the economy. I have taken that passion to further my education in accounting at Laurentian University in which I graduated with a major in management and accounting. From then, I have continued my education with CPA Ontario to get my designation of CPA. I have worked several years in the public accounting practice in which I have used my understanding of the tax system and accounting principles to better service clients and provide tailored recommendations based on their business needs. As my career progressed, I moved towards my true passion of financial and control reporting. With all the experience and education I have gathered over the years, I will continue to sharpen my skills to better suit the needs of the clients and provide a more in depth financial reporting on all future work. With my combined analytical skills, bilingual abilities, and work ethics, I will continue to increase my client and social networking base to better assist the accounting community. While I am not at work or assisting clients on their needs, you will find me spending time with my family enjoying the finer and less complicated things in life.
