About Simon Lam

I am a dedicated radiologic sciences educator and clinical coordinator with over 15 years of experience in diagnostic imaging and allied health education. Since earning my board certification as a radiologic technologist in 2008, I have combined hands-on clinical expertise with a passion for teaching, mentoring, and shaping the next generation of imaging professionals. In my current role as Clinical Coordinator for a JRCERT-accredited radiology program, I bridge the classroom and the clinic—facilitating site placements, supporting preceptors, and ensuring students gain meaningful, real-world experiences that prepare them for successful careers. My focus is on creating engaging, learner-centered environments that move beyond traditional lectures and foster active participation and critical thinking. I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences with an emphasis in Education, deepening my ability to design curriculum, integrate emerging technologies like AI and simulation, and drive program improvement initiatives. I’m passionate about advancing radiologic education, strengthening partnerships between academia and clinical sites, and contributing to the growth of our profession.
