About Simon Leblanc

Driven by a passion for alternative investments, real assets and private markets, I bring hands-on experience across investments, capital raising, investor relations, and commercial banking. Today, at Brookfield I’m part of the Canadian Sales team, where I focus on client relationship management and capital raising for Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions platform for funds across real estate, infrastructure, private equity, private credit, and renewable energy. My experience across GP, LP, and banking roles gives me a well-rounded perspective on how capital is raised, allocated, and managed within alternative investments and private markets. This background strengthens my ability to understand investor objectives, position strategies effectively, and build lasting relationships. Beyond professional roles, I served as President of ImmoHEC, Canada’s largest student-led real estate association, where I raised $450K+ from 65+ industry partners, launched HEC Montréal’s first real estate mentorship program, and co-organized the largest real estate competition in Canada. I’ve also authored investment research articles published in Espace Montréal. As a four-time scholarship recipient recognized for leadership, I’m passionate about capital raising in private markets and motivated by the opportunity to build lasting partnerships that create long-term value, both personally and professionally.
