Lao Peng You Pa Pa Zao ()”, or “PPZ” for short, is a mass walk event led by local filmmaker Jack Neo. The inspiration behind PPZ started during the pandemic when some of Jack’s livestream viewers proposed meeting up with him and he suggested that they join him on a walk during the weekends. This weekly affair – which is free of charge – has since drawn a steady stream of participants in the “hundreds” who are now PPZ members. This initiative is not just for the seniors but has eventually become a family-bonding cum weekly exercise with a post-walk entertainment program joined by local celebrities and artistes. As mobile applications have become an essential part of our daily lives, offering a wide range of services and entertainment at our fingertips, PPZ has also launched its very own Mobile App in 2024. One of its main goals is to provide real and meaningful value to the PPZ members who are encouraged to earn PPZ Points through their weekly walks. The members can then use these accumulated points to redeem collectible items / products / services at the “Shop” of the Rewards Program from the PaPaZao App. Unlike many apps developed by companies and entrepreneurs, monetization is NOT its essential goal. However, it is crucial to establish a sustainable rewarding model that allows for long-term continuity and growth. Hence, support in sponsorship of cash and/or products/services will play a pivotal role in the success of this PaPaZao App while aligning with any brand’s values of community development, innovation and sustainability.
