About Simon MacKenna

High tempo road transport logistics operations supervisor. Have been a defence force member for 17 years with a wide range of skills ranging from weapon handling and security patroling including crowd control for 6 years. Current role includes driver and operations supervisor of medium to heavy ridged and heavy combination oversized and overmass transportation vehicles, vip driving, fleet/ servicing management, personnel tasking and logistics planning. Currently logistics Operations supervisor in a high tempo and unique defence force environment. My roll also requires me to be a senior driver testing instructor (TAE10 qualification)running a wide range of transportation driver courses. My future goals are to expand my logistic knowledge and to continue train lead and mentoring our defence force drivers to a high standard in the upcoming fleet of vehicles and using their skills in a complex operating environment. As I am always forward thinking I wish to further my knowledge and I am also open to explore my high standards to non-defence logistics management or logistics operations manager job options.
