About Simon Mailloux

I'm a Credit Analyst at TD Equipment Finance and a recent graduate of the master's degree in Finance at HEC Montreal. Prior to entering the master’s program, I completed a bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering at McGill University. Some of my key achievements include: Recipient of 6 scholarships and awards based on my academic performance, a Dean's Honour List distinction (McGill University), and 3 With Great Distinction honors (HEC Montreal). Carried out 4 internships where I developed deep business acumen and used my technical background and creativity to solve complex problems, including an 8-month internship in Business Valuations & Financial Modelling at Deloitte. Completed my master's supervised project, in which I constructed advanced econometric models to identify the determinants of post-acquisition performance for firms. Realized a consulting mandate for the nonprofit organization Agile Montreal, allowing the improvement of its business development strategies.
