About Simon Martin

I have worked as a Senior Commercial Leader for the past 7 years and have 20 years experience within the drinks industry - I am used to planning and implementing company strategy and managing large sales teams of 10+ direct reports, driving and securing new business. Through my experience I have developed a large network of Key Accounts and worked in partnership with many other drinks companies outside of beer to help drive incremental sales through my customer base. My career has seen me working across all market sectors of the On Trade, Wholesale, National Accounts and Off Trade where I have a history of building constructive and collaborative long term relationships. Experienced in managing the commercial levers for a successful business unit and understanding the impact of pricing, premiumisation, brand mix and cost control to the bottom line. My roles have also included managing sponsorship contracts with both Premier League Football Clubs and International Festivals including Arsenal, Tottenham, Southampton & Crystal Palace along with Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds and Latitude Festivals. I have a desire to succeed with a can do attitude and a strong work ethic with a solid commercial awareness and understanding of the business and how to get my team to perform to the best of the abilities to achieve their goals. My excellent interpersonal skills ensure I build lasting, productive & profitable relationships.
