About Simon Maw

I have over 30 years experience working with Automotive Design Studios dealing with concept and production implementation. During this time I have undertaken various levels of responsibility; Digital Sculpting Modeler, Team Lead, Client Liaison, Project Coordinator and CAD Integration. I have created designs from a brief that are accurate for all engineering, manufacturing and ergonomic requirements. I then communicate these designs to the client and team using interactive reviews such as Virtual Reality (VR) I have worked with many major international clients including; McLaren, Ford and Aston Martin. I am an organised and thorough person with good communication skills and a strong process driven approach to work. I have kept up-to-date with new technology, computer packages and client procedures which enables me to quickly adapt to new projects. The computer software that I have mainly used is Autodesk Alias since 1998. I have also used supporting software that includes Autodesk Vred and Catia for Data releasing Other software that I am more than conversant with includes ICEM Surf, Rhino 3D, Blender Mesh Modeller, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc…), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and video conferencing software.
