About Simon Meadow

Retail manager at varying levels up to Multi site manager for over 20 years, have worked for a number of retailers such as Bose, Game, Annoushka,Clark's Shoes and Screw fix. Over those years i have gained a vast amount of experience in varying aspects of the role, with Game i was the HR support manager which allowed me to recruit managers and assistant managers for the region as well as supporting there induction into the business. Alongside this i was given the responsibility to complete disciplinary investigations and meetings for breaches of policy and procedure within the area. I am also very proud of the selling model i developed and introduced to Game which is still being used as part of the development of sales associates now (3 years after i have left). With Annoushka i joined as an assistant manager and developed through the business up to managing 8 concessions in locations across the UK within Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and House Of Fraser. similar to the HR support i was responsible for recruiting managers for the concessions as well as supporting their development and reported directly to the business owners. I used the experience i gained from my 10 years with Clark's shoes where again i developed through the business from part time sales to Multi Site manager to bring structure in team development such as goal setting, performance reviews and KPI's to Annoushka. With all my roles i do tend to follow the basic principles teams need support and development to help them achieve their goals in work and future development as well as customers deserve the best experience while in one of my stores.
