About Simon Nicolas

Having a strong attraction for new technologies, I joined the IUT of Saint-Malo to pursue a DUT in Networks and Telecommunications through an initial training program. This allowed me to develop skills in LAN, WAN, programming, and telecommunications. My DUT concluded with a 9-week internship at SBSI, where I discovered the role of a Network/IT Technician (patching, preparing/installing IT equipment, etc.). I successfully obtained my DUT in 2022. After earning my DUT, I continued my studies with a Professional Bachelor's degree in RIMS (Computer Networks, Mobility, Security) at the IUT of Saint-Malo, this time as a work-study student, working as a Network Technician at APIXIT in Montauban-de-Bretagne. This experience gave me the opportunity to discover the business world within a national-scale network integrator. I successfully completed my year and obtained my degree in 2023. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree (M2) in Network and Systems Engineering at the University of Paris-Saclay. I am completing this program as a work-study student, still at APIXIT, where I work as a Network Engineer in Issy-les-Moulineaux (92).
