I am a Senior Equity Trader for Fidelity Investments Canada, who has built outstanding experience and a solid reputation in trading equities and fixed income across international markets. I’m particularly skilled in building rapport with others and am practiced in managing relationships with brokers, clients, portfolio managers and colleagues in middle and back office operations. As an expat, I demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to different environments and have international experience, which I believe gives me a competitive edge in international financial markets. My key strength is my ability to multi-task and I enjoy being kept busy; in fact, the busier the better! I demonstrate sound judgement and am experienced in collecting information from various sources including vendors and vendor managed systems; I can quickly evaluate situations and make sound decisions based on incomplete information. I am a good natured individual with strong communication skills who enjoys working in a team. I possess a tenacity and resilience that allows me to thrive in a trading floor environment. I am a loyal employee who has achieved strong results for Fidelity International, and have proved myself capable of taking on responsibility with knowledge of all trading floor operations, from back, middle and front office perspectives.
