About Simon Paton

I’m an Agile-practiced change and communications professional with extensive experience across the public and not for profit sectors. My expertise is in program and change management, allied with adult training and skilling. Throughout my career, my ability to adapt and lead has given me the chance to make valuable contributions to the development and proper execution of key organisational objectives. While much of my work has been about improving management and structural systems, I’ve taken considerable pride in devising creative ways to cultivate a culture of collaborative engagement through common goals and aspirations. Given my achievements and significant familiarity with how the public sector works, I relish forging highly functional working relationships, and building consensus among individuals and across teams, through an influential and effective management style. I value establishing connections with former associates and other management professionals. I am a believer in respecting that every audience has a particular preference when it comes to receiving the message. My skill is to transpose the message in multiple ways that resonate with the audience. When you connect where your audience is, your message will resonate more often and behaviour will change.
