I am a highly accomplished investment professional with nearly 20 years of experience in developing and executing a range of commercial transactions and projects including M&A, corporate finance, debt, credit and transition planning. Sectors worked on include logistics, telecommunications, government, infrastructure and financial services. With significant expertise in deal execution, transaction management, stakeholder management and corporate governance, I am highly adaptable and excel in leading cross-functional teams to deliver commercial outcomes. Currently serving as Head of Investments at New Zealand Post (NZ Post), I have helped drive NZ Post’s M&A mandate resulting in a number of company acquisitions. These acquisitions allowed NZ Post’s entry to new verticals, the expansion of its end-to-end product offering and cost savings via the closure of a non-performing operation. I also have led the transition and synergy planning for certain NZ Post acquired entities. As the Investment lead on the project steerco, I helped coordinate NZ Post’s divestiture of non-core assets Kiwibank and the Kiwi Group companies. The Head of Investments position has provided significant corporate governance experience in the form of board shareholder observer roles for Kiwibank, Kiwi Group Holdings and board attendee roles for two subsidiary entities. Benefiting from working on numerous domestic and international commercial transactions and projects, I understand stakeholder collaboration is central to achieving long-term success.
