Background

About Simon Pickard

I help companies grow, scale, and transform their ICT service lines into structured, consulting-led businesses that deliver tangible commercial outcomes. With a background in testing and quality engineering, my career has evolved into executive leadership roles where I take ownership of strategic growth, P&L performance, client development, and team scale-up across Defence, Government, and industry. I’ve focused on transitioning technical delivery units into commercially accountable service offerings. This involves building repeatable go-to-market capabilities, supporting national delivery teams, and establishing the leadership frameworks necessary to support high-performance consulting at scale. I work best at the intersection of delivery and strategy, helping teams grow while ensuring what we take to market is differentiated, structured, and fit for purpose. Whether it’s stabilising underperforming accounts, positioning a vertical for long-term growth, or engaging directly with buyers to unlock new opportunities, I bring clarity, momentum, and focus to every challenge. Open to leadership connections, client conversations, and strategic partnerships.
