About Simon Putnam

I am a Senior Manager with over 30 years of public and private sector experience in project and programme management. Having spent 10 years developing and deploying system integration projects – producing complex supply chain and eProcurement solutions in the IT industry. I have successfully developed this knowledge and skill in the public sector, managing and delivering complex multi-party programmes from blueprint to deployment. In addition, I have significant experience in OJUE compliant procurement frameworks, competitive dialogue and stakeholder management at all levels up to and including Board. I have assisted several public and regulatory bodies with advice and guidance on strategic and digital transformation planning, process and organisational change, project and programme governance as well as directly managing the programmes, being responsible for the budgets and resources applied. My background has meant that I have spent a large part of my time working with third party suppliers - negotiating and agreeing service credit SLA and KPI regimes. I have assisted Local Authorities (Westminster, Manchester, Hertfordshire, Lambeth, Enfield, Telford, Newham, Slough and West Northants), regulatory bodies (The Environment Agency), Government agencies and Depts.(DVLA, DVO, DEFRA), NHS (North Mersey Health Informatics Service) and service delivery organisations (WRAP) with their major efficiency programmes. I am a Prince2 Practitioner; MSP qualified, a KPMG Associate and member of SOCITM, I also operate as Sprint BPR Consultant/Trainer.
