About Simon Raeburn

I am a professional freelance photographer based in Cheshire with 5 years’ experience. I completed a photography diploma in 2012, having been an avid amateur photographer since the age of 15. After a successful career in Facilities Management I now focus on offering a friendly focussed service to my customers, matched to their needs. Remember, there is a reason why they say ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’. As well as working with businesses to promote their products and services, I also work with schools and nurseries, to capture the character of their pupils. Put simply I cover people, products and property. My images are used for various media - brochures, advertising, web and social media as well as hung portraits. I recently completed my PfCO to enable me to offer aerial photography and videography in addition to the traditional work. Drones are incredibly powerful and beneficial devices, not just enabling us to get different viewpoints, but allowing us to observe hard to reach places, safely, more quickly and typically much more cost effective than traditional means. It is through my many years of operating and managing property portfolios that I understand and see the benefit drones can bring to the construction and property sector, whether for surveying, mapping or inspection.
