About Simon Rocco

I have developed a broad range of experience and skills in the water industry, having worked with many clients to successfully lead and deliver many urban and industrial water, wastewater and stormwater projects. I have consistently demonstrated an ability to quickly adapt to individual client requirements and learn new skills, while drawing from my broad experience base to add value to each project. My key project experience includes leading design teams through investigation, detailed design and specification through to construction and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment and transportation infrastructure. I have worked closely with public water authorities (Sydney Water, Hunter Water, Melbourne Water, United Utilities U.K.) and many many local councils to deliver successful urban water and wastewater projects. I have also worked on many road and rail transportation projects providing modelling and design of intricate utilities relocations, including being Utilities Design Lead for the Newcastle Light Rail Project. In addition, I also have experience in industrial water projects having worked on water related projects for Defence, power stations, mines and ports.
