I am an experienced client focussed Operations Director with more than 20 years experience in the sourcing, commissioning and conduct of projects spanning residential, commercial and mixed use developments. With a career history that spans senior management posts in leading professional service firms and property development companies, I offer a wealth of experience in bid management, contract negotiation, project planning and execution of real estate projects in both the UK and overseas. An overview of my career includes these highlights:* Development Director for Linkcity on the multi phase Hallsville Quarter regeneration project * Projects Director for GVA Second London Wall at Battersea Power Station Phase 3 * Working for leading professional services companies, EC Harris and David Chipperfield Architects * Project managing high profile property developments for Westcity Developers * Delivering new high tech winery for Nyetimber that negated the need to construct a second facility I have worked on a vast array of projects from refurbishments to new builds; wineries to commercial; listed buildings; joint ventures; and acted in a consultancy capacity and operational role. This breadth of experience has necessitated a great deal of client insight and flexibility to cope with the complexity of many of these projects. My knowledge and expertise has been recognised through being headhunted to move client side from EC Harris to Westcity Developers; working for David Chipperfield Architects as Commercial Manager; and being seconded from EC Harris to the British Embassy in Doha to support trade development initiatives linked to the Asian Games. With a professional and academic background that includes RICS membership and an MSc in Project Management from Reading University, I can offer a combination of strategic planning, commercial acumen, project management, and stakeholder management skills to win and conduct complex property development projects.
