About Simon Roy

I have over 20 years of experience in software engineering, and a marked interest in application security and its governance. During those years, I covered the different stages of the development process, from both a developer and a manager perspective. I took part in various technical committees and in the development of international specifications. I have also been involved in quality control and configuration management. I worked for many years in the field of visual impairment. It is this clientele that pushed me to develop the skills necessary to understand the specific needs of users and to find innovative and adapted solutions. Attracted by science, I am now working in the field of non-destructive testing. it is in this stimulating and fast growing environment that I’m still developing my skills in application development, management, and security.
