About Simon Schratz

Market pull as the strongest and eventually only source for businesses to grow motivates me to thrive for effective solutions and results that costumers value. Improving technical systems, teams, myself and organizations which I am part of drives me. Currently I do this as product owner for 2 software development teams. We deliver innovative functions in the context of a machine which is based on scanning electron beam microscopy and the final purpose to repair photomasks in the semiconductor industry. We develop algorithms for image processing, integrate third party hard- and software to a working system and provide a common user interface for the operator of the machine. My experience lead me to agile approaches for organizations (SCRUM, KANBAN) and I believe that decentralized, autonomous teams are key for business success and meaningful work. I am experienced in product development projects with a huge variety of technical topics, involving mechanics, electronics, embedded and non embedded software. I value an international and diverse context.
