The fascination of furnace construction is immediately apparent to every engineer when she or he first stands in front of a machine with a burning interior, steaming pipes and hissing burners. Temperatures beyond the ranges for which material properties are specified in manufacturers' data sheets force us to redefine the limits of what is technically feasible every day. This is another reason why I consider working as a furnace engineer a great privilege. For almost 10 years I have been working in this great profession as Sales Manager, Technical Project Manager, Product Manager and in the meantime as Head of Sales & Marketing and Product Management. Our mission at ONEJOON is to be the technology leader in future markets such as battery electrode material production, high temperature fuel cells (SOFC) or the recycling of used tyres. This requires a strong team with a lot of experience, technical competence and ambition. My ambition as an engineer and manager at ONEJOON is therefore to renew my enthusiasm for special plant engineering and complex machine technology every day and encourage our teams of experts to achieve TOP performance. Our technology is designed and optimised for markets and applications which require a high degree of furnace quality, system availability, process reliability, homogeneity and product quality. As Sales Manager, I am therefore absolutely convinced that our advanced furnace technology and precise process control gives our customers a significant competitive advantage. “Thermal Solutions for every challenge” – this is our and my personal goal at ONEJOON.
