About Simon Sedgwick

I am an architect with over 25 years experience across a wide range of sectors focused on the continual successful delivery of each project that I am engaged with. The most rewarding aspect of my work is having the opportunity to use my skill in creating innovative design solutions to unlock the potential of each project. I am proud to have led design teams delivering internationally on complex projects in Europe and Africa, including IBM's first African Smart Cities Research Centre in Nairobi. I am also proud of have led a design team in developing global optimised DC template for a confidential client, which is currently being rolled out across the EMEA region. I am deeply committed to fostering a collaborative approach to each project, creating a shared vision across the DT, fully adapted to meet with the clients aspirations. I believe that this shared vision needs to be in place at all stages of the design process, which can be a key factor in efficiently and successfully resolving issues through a fully coordinated design approach. I am energised by the transformative nature of good architectural design, and am most happy when experiencing this being delivered in a sustainable way, whilst also adding great value to a clients project goals. On a more personal note, I am proud father of my two adult children, and enjoy writing and recording music, harvesting my garden to feed my home brewing, and tinkering away at renovating/upgrading my 200 year old home.
